Omega Remains Fully Operational

To Our Esteemed Clients and Colleagues:
Over the past few weeks, it has become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect our communities, Omega Forensic Engineering’s priorities are protecting the health and safety of our experts and staff while continuing to provide the expert investigations, reporting, and customer service that we are known for.

On behalf of Omega’s engineers and support staff, I want to reassure you that we expect to remain fully operational throughout this crisis and will continue to serve your needs in our daily service areas.

  • We have sufficient staff to continue operations without interruption at this time. All Omega engineers and support staff are available to work seamlessly by remote access, so you will see no change in our ability to maintain our normal level of customer service, and our engineers remain committed to scheduling inspections quickly.
  • Omega remains committed to serving our local communities here in Florida. All of our active engineers are based in Florida and are taking the necessary precautions to continue the same Omega inspection and report protocol they have provided for years. Our main office has been located in South Florida for decades, and we have stood alongside our neighbors through many previous challenging events.
  • Submitting an assignment is easy, either by email or our upgraded submission form. Recent improvements to our submission form ensure continuous and reliable digital service for our clients, and our web host maintains back-up servers to ensure functionality through disruptive events like storms—or something like this. I have canceled our attendance at all conferences and claims meetings for the time being and will limit most internal meetings to remote access.
If you would like to meet with me in the coming days or weeks, I am more than happy to take advantage of remote meeting technologies or will chat with you by phone.

Bottom line: While we continue educating ourselves on the recommendations and protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health departments in regard to COVID-19, our operation is equipped to remain fully functional during these times.
